| Maseru Giants hoist inaugural league championship last year |
The Lesotho
Rugby League climaxes this weekend with the season finals at Ha-Mabote.
Mabote Beavers
will battle Maseru Warriors in the final which will be played at Beavers’ home
ground.
Both sides
were semi-final winners last weekend with Warriors beating NUL Spears 38-12 and
Beavers defeating LCS Lioalaoala 6-0.
Before the
final, Lioalaoala will play Spears of the National University of Lesotho in the
bronze medal game at 14:00. The final kicks off at 16:00.
Maseru Giants
are the defending champions of the Lesotho Rugby League but were banned for two
years by the Federation of Lesotho Rugby (FLR) in February because of an
on-going dispute.
Meanwhile, the
national team, Likatola, will host
Botswana in an international test match on April 30.
