Lioli will play Matlama in the pick of this year’s Vodacom Soccer Spectacular quarterfinal ties. The mega-clash was revealed today at the unveiling of the eight teams that will take part in Lesotho’s richest tournament.
The winners of the Vodacom Soccer Spectacular will walk away with M360 000 and eight participating teams were established through a month-long sms voting competition.
The first leg of the grudge match between Tse Nala and Tse Putsoa will be played at the Lioli Stadium in Teyateyaneng on October 23 with the second leg on November 5 at the Setsoto Stadium.
That though wasn’t the only fascinating tie come out of the hat with league champions LCS to face Bantu. The two sides are already due to meet in the final of the Independence Cup next weekend.
In the other quarterfinal clashes Maduma will face Linare while LDF have drawn Majantja. The first legs of the quarterfinals will be played on the weekend of October 22/23 with the returns two weekends later.
