| Lesotho basketball on the rise |
The Lesotho Basketball Association (LBA)
has launched a new website, www.lesothobasketball.org. The website will have
regular updates on upcoming LBA tournaments, news, leagues and information on
all of the LBA’s basketball activities.
The development of the new website is
part of the LBA’s attempts to raise the profile of Lesotho basketball both
nationally and internationally. The website has a number of features including
complete mobile optimisation, social media inclusion, dynamic news content,
up-to-date results, as well as a clean look and feel.
The LBA said the new website is part of
an overall strategy to drive basketball participation in Lesotho and establish the
game among the top sports in the country.
The LBA is also announced a mobile app
will also be released to deliver competition results. The 2016/17 National
Basketball League (NBL) season began two weeks ago and continues this weekend
with three games on Sunday in Teyateyaneng.
