It was a memorable Sprite Memorial Independence Tournament |
Bokamoso South continued their incredible
start to the 2016/17 basketball season by winning the 2016 Sprite Memorial

The new kids on the block were in stunning

ahead of national league champions, KTA All Stars.
Bokamoso South made a brilliant start to
their Memorial Independence Tournament campaign by beating favourites KTA 50-46
in a hotly contested encounter on Saturday.
They didn’t look back and defeated
Leseli 50-30, Bashana Baheso 52-42 and Khubestate 42-27 to top the final standings
of the round robin tournament. KTA finished second with their only defeat in
four outings coming at the hands of winners Bokamoso South.

performers but it was Nako Mofube who won the competition’s MVP award.
The top two in the women’s section was
also the same. However, this time around KTA All Stars finished ahead of
Bokamoso South with Nthabeleng Mohale from Tigers named as the competition’s
