Lesotho Premier League - Roll of Honour

After nine months of competition the Lesotho Premier League is reaching an exciting climax. LDF are top of the league and in contention to win a ninth title with which Sohle-Sohle would equal Matlama as Lesotho’s most successful side. Second placed LCS are going for their third championship in five years and fifth overall in club history. Masheshena, back to back winners in 2006/07 and 2007/08, also won the league as Lesotho Prison Services in 2000 and 2002. Lesotho’s league title has been shared almost exclusively by teams from the capital Maseru. Only on six occasions in 40 years has the league rested outside Maseru. The only sides not from Maseru to have won the championship are Leribe’s Linare, Majantja of Mohale’s Hoek and Lioli, the pride of Teyateyaneng, capital of Berea district.
